Petroleum minister compliments Goyal for ‘pro poor, pro farmer budget’

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan complimented interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal for delivering a ‘pro-poor, pro-farmer, pro-middle class & a pro-development’ budget.

Mr Pradhan tweeted,” Compliments to Sh. @PiyushGoyal & Sh.@arunjaitley for a pro-poor, pro-farmer,pro-middle class & a pro-development budget. #BudgetForNewIndia gives unprecedented attention to the aspirations of a #NewIndia & further strengthens #ModiGovt’s resolve to bridge the urban-rural divide.”

He further said that the interim budget, Mr Goyal in Lok Sabha, has kept its focus on strengthening agriculture and rural economy.

“ModiGovt with its clear focus on strengthening agriculture & rural economy is working towards welfare of our farmers including doubling their income. 12 Crore agricultural families will benefit from #PMKisanSammanNidhi initiative with direct income support,” he tweeted.

“Giving wings to the aspirations of the middle class #ModiGovt doubled the tax exemption limit to Rs 5 Lakh. The historic decision will benefit more than 3 Crore middle class tax payers,” Mr Pradhan stated in one of his tweet.
